Horse-hair bristles are woven into a bamboo handle, with no nylon or glue. A small aluminium fastener holds the weave. Horse hair is an animal material, so the brush is not vegan.

We describe the handle as bamboo. We do not have a verified handle-species record. The aluminium fastener does not compost; remove it before any composting attempt. We do not hold a finished-brush home-compost certification.

Our supplier describes the hair as a grooming by-product and reports high-temperature processing before assembly. That is supplier information. We have not independently audited the individual farms or established a finished-brush sterility result.

We have not independently tested the finished brush for sterility, microplastic release or home-compost breakdown.

We have not established a tested BARE lifespan, a pack duration, an allergy test result or a standardised softness comparison. General research about materials is not a test of this finished brush.
